Hi,

I am trying to import an existing repository that fails with the message
explained at
https://code.google.com/p/support/wiki/SubversionFAQ#Why_am_I_getting_the_error_"Commit_metadata_is_too_large&qu<https://code.google.com/p/support/wiki/SubversionFAQ#Why_am_I_getting_the_error_>
 Explanation
still doesn't help to figure out how to split commits. What is the limit of
files per commit? What tools are available to do this?

It would be nice to know what are commit requirements to make Subversion
repository scalable. If I have to rewrite the history anyway, I can try to
enforce this.
