Hi, Mike Lutz here, Professor of Software Engineering at the Rochester
Institute of Technology.

I am teaching a software design course where projects involve teams of 4-5
students each; one of the things we need most is version control. These
students have never seen a VCS in the past, so I'd like to use SVN
(simplest current VCS I know of), and Google Code looked like an excellent
venue to use. The projects themselves should not require more than a
20-25MB of space (and probably much less than that).

I want to do the dirty work of creating the projects, populating the trunk
and tags directory, adding a Welcome message, etc. Then the student teams
can begin by just checking out the project associated with their team.

Here's the issue - I need to create about 15 teams - 5 here in Rochester
and up to 5 each for our remote campus in Croatia. I got stung by your spam
filter that limits the number of projects any one person can create in a
given time period. Is there any way around this? Should I tap my colleagues
to create the additional projects for me and make me an owner? Am I
violating the rules of use of code.google.com by doing this?

Right now I have 4 projects for the first 4 of my 5 Rochester teams:
