Hello, I'm requesting Google to give me owner access to the gwt-syncproxy project that is being hosted on Code. I believe the circumstances described below satisfy the criteria as needed for making such a request.
On Feb 27 2013, I contacted the owner of this project (Trung Tran, [email protected]) because I had made some changes to the library that I believe were worth committing back to the original project. He replied back the same day and gave me committer access to the project. Since then, I have attempted to contact Trung several times regarding the following: 1. Compilation problems with the original library 2. Code and refactoring review requests 3. A number of other developers requesting permission to join the project 4. Updates request to the front page of the project to reflect the changes and new features in the library. I have tried contacting on the following dates via email with the topics above: 3/4/13, 5/7/13, 6/4/13, and 10/7/13. None of those requests have been either answer or even acknowledged. Since being added as a committer to the project, I have also taken over answer questions to library users on StackOverflow (username: Jcricket) that have not been answered by the original project owner. Since there is no response from the project owner, I'm willing to take on responsibility for the project and get other developers who are interested in working on the project so that we can get more features implemented. As such, I'm requesting owner access in order to access the following Google Code features: 1. Ability to change and update the project home page. 2. Permission to add more people the project in various roles as needed. Please advise on how to proceed.
