Hi Dave, I set the ssl-trust-default-ca to true and reran. The process took its time creating temp files of sizes 1.12 GB 2.58 GB 1.77 GB 5.42 GB (so a total of ~11 GB in addition to the current 2.5 in the repo) and then failed again with 'commit will exceed repository size' (without committing anything at all).
I know that the total size of my repository is 6.2 GB right now. I wonder if the sync process tries to include the deleted parts too until all syncing is done (thus bulging the size a lot more), and then shrink it back after the deletions. I know that at some point a sequence of insertions and deletions had been done. I wonder if we could temporarily increase the quota further (say to 25 GB), and once the syncing is done, bring it back to the current size. Thanks for the help! If that can not be done, or if it fails again, I guess I will just have to do a clean dump and store just the final version without the history. Alternately, I wonder if doing a fresh init will cause the updates to be done 1 version at a time.
