Okay, this is just hilarious! New programmers should start using something like Python not go use a book that uses MIX assembly.
Python learning resources are everywhere and it's a simple language, pick it up before someone picks you up. O and you can use it for the "competition". So those of you learning programming for the "competition" can actually learn it for just that, but I would hate you for it.
