Hey Satyajit, thank you for your nice words.
To be honest something very similar happened to me, but my liking for Ruby
out did my want to go back to java. :). I have 5 years of Java behind me and
only 4 months of Ruby, but since I was so easily able to solve problem A, I
was tempted to do the same for other problems, but I struggled with trying
my way around a 3D array that I created, of course my solution was wrong and
perhaps a bit too complex, but I struggled more on array traversal
initially, then on trying to fit the recursive logic.

I've tried to study and understand the solutions of the top coders, but I
fail miserably in understanding anything concrete from them.
