i am currently using microsoft visual C++ 6.0 and last night i
downloaded the standard template library which i found quite helpful
after reading in a website. but the problem is that some of the header
files in the STL are also present in the include folder of VC++ like
vector, dequeue etc. So do i replace these with the ones that are in
the downloaded STL folder or do i keep both. I tried keeping both but
when i compile it says that there are multiple declarations. there are
also some header files in the STL folder that are not present in the VC
++. Moreover the files that are common in both don't contain the same
thing in them - so which one to keep? i would really like the pros to
advise here.
thanks in advance.
