I disagree. It happened to me in Round 1A when I was in my friend's home and worked on VC++ 6. The vectors are not easily debug-able in VC++ 6 editor. I am sure, if I would have been using VS 2005, I will be more speedy as it took me some time to setup my watch in VC++ 6. Yeah, if your algorithms and programming is so strong that you don't even need a debugger then for sure you you can program in any editor. So programming environment does matter.
