What makes you think people asking for more variety of languages/tools are
doing this because they don't know C++?

Topcoder is lots of fun, but it already runs regular SRMs, MMs, as well as
the TCO. Why would we want to give up an interesting new format for a few
more contests in the same format we already have so many contests in? IMHO,
the only contest that is similar is the IPSC, which sadly has only one match
per year.
