Hi Nitish,
it does help in a wide, even deep, way. An algorithm could improve
many circumstances:
- Security and crypto related algorithm helps to add security, reliance,
etc, to IT products,
- many real life optimization problems are solved by graph/ dynamic
programming problems,
- the "Internet" itself "uses" graph related algorithm to select the best
path to delivery packages, and many package delivery companies do so as well
(by using software that apply these known solutions),
- and so on; many others cases and fields are impacted by algorithms.
And still, there're many other problems waiting to be solved, with
algorithms that will add even more value to the IT industry and our lives.
