I understand what porker means by "I sucks in the interview" - a contest
and the interview are two very different situations.  At any interview you
are in unfamiliar surroundings, that may affect your programming
performance (lack of familiar reference materials, for example).  BUT even
more important, an interview is not just about coding and algorithms - it
is about how you fit into the culture in that office or company.  That
could easily depend on the individual interviewer, and how they are feeling
that day. Yeah, I know, it shouldn't depend on that, but in the real world,
it can.
