It doesn't have anything to do with your IQ. It's just a matter of training training and training.
I recommend you to go to www.topcoder.com/tc, www.spoj.pl, http://uva.onlinejudge.org, http://livearchive.onlinejudge.org and there are some more sites where you can solve lots of problems. There are some tutorials in TopCoder and I also recomend you to read Introduction to Algorithms by Thomas Cormen et al.
