I am surprised that out of 500 top-level and motivated contestants only 38% decided to participate in testing / practice round. I expected much higher number - anyone who participate has by now some advantage (fair! advantage) of those who didn't.
Even if I was 100% sure in my abilities, I would still solve one problem to see any potential issues with the way platform works. (like Gennady Korotkevich did with solving 2.5 problems).
