Just to back this up: last year's 10th placed candidate ( http://www.go-hero.net/jam/15/name/pashka ) reached the top 10 just using java and last year's 8th placed candidate ( http://www.go-hero.net/jam/15/name/linguo ) reached the top 10 just using python ( well, one c++ for speed )
