I don't get how the BFF circle is supposed to be made.

The sample case shows that the solution for:
7 8 10 10 9 2 9 6 3 3
is this sitting configuration:
7 9 3 10 4 1
Even though there is no BFF relationship between 1 and 4, the circle is correct
because 1's BFF is 7.
The BFF relationship can be represented as: 10<-3<-9<-7<-1 && 10<-4
I assume that it works this way because the circle can be completed if at least
one of the neighbor is the kid's BFF.

But why is the max number of kids for this sample problem = 3?:
3 3 4 1
This configuration should be possible to solve the problem:
3 1 4 2
Same representation as previous example: 3<-1<-4 && 3<-2

Can't seem to figure out what I did wrong..
