Thanks for the help guys.

In regarding to staying in python as it's good enough for GCJ, I wan't to learn 
cpp for two reasons:
First is competing in competitive programming, not just GCJ, and as I 
understand other competitions are more strict about programming languages.
Second is learning cpp on the way.

So I'm mostly looking for tips on how to get well in cpp to being able to 
compete with it in competitions. My knowledge of the language is ok, but not 
flexible enough for fast programming in a competition.

I'm also familier with java but want to do it in cpp.

Thanks for the help, other suggestions will be gladly excepted.
