Because only C++ and Java are supported for Distributed, those of us who use other languages in Standard but want to practice for Distributed end up with our heads wrapped around C++/Java instead of Python/OCaml/Haskell/Rust/whatever.
If you swapped the order of the two rounds, we would have a consistent practice experience leading into Distributed, and then have 24 hours to recalibrate back to our favorite language for Standard. (Of course, a simpler solution would be to not have them on the same weekend :) Hope you will consider this for 2017.
