Amir, That message (from 2008) is slightly out of date. There's an unfortunate revolving door of places that are necessarily excluded from Code Jam by law. This year, according to https://code.google.com/codejam/terms, it's Crimea, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, and Quebec -- not Iran.
