Hi, The total number of points required to qualify varies per year, and it's usually in the 20 to 30 point range. As soon as the round starts, at the top of the scoreboard there will be a message clarifying the required amount. For instance, you can check out last year's qualification round scoreboard here: https://code.google.com/codejam/contest/6254486/scoreboard There is a message at the top saying 30 points are required to advance. A similar message will be at the top of the scoreboard this year (not accessible until the contest starts in a little less than 6 hours.
