Haskell has a huge ecosystem of standard commonly used libraries that are easy to install on GHC, while the base install is small and relatively minimal.
I was surprised that libraries like [`Control.Monad.Extra`]( https://hackage.haskell.org/package/extra-1.6.5/docs/Control-Monad-Extra.html), with its extremely useful `loopM` function wasn't included, along with a big chunk of common libraries. Is there a way to request some libraries be included in CodeJam? Otherwise, languages like C++ or Haskell would be disadvantaged over others like Python, which has a lot of flow control libraries loaded by default. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Code Jam" group.
