Didn't get your point. I don't understand why it is the same logic.

My logic is since releasing the test case could do both good thing or bad 
things, so there is a reason not to release it, despite the fact that it can do 
good thing. (It is a tradeoff isn't it)
I didn't say that it MUST NOT be released.

The same logic could apply to GCC if people believe that it bring more harm 
than benefits. (But that is not the case)
