Further investigation at the developers' guide (http://code.google.com/
apis/contacts/docs/2.0/developers_guide.html) suggests that you
*maybe* describing a 2.0 feature (the protocol section describes
version 2.0), and I maybe using the Python client library that is
still on version 1.0?
