Hi Steve,

Do you close the browser/session after uploading the images? that
would make Gmail reload the session completely. Also, check if there
is any proxy in your network that could be causing the problem or try
from a different internet connection.

You should not get to the point of emptying the browsers cache to get
the new images. I have not been able to reproduce the problem, if you
give me exact steps to reproduce the problem I will check the issue
and submit a bug if necessary.
