Friends I'm able to add a new contact (and even set a picture for it later using the webbrowser with gmail), but I'm puzzled that after when I retrieve the contact, it *always* seems to be missing the link rel="whatever#photo" so that I can add/edit/delete the photo.
Here is an example: adenil...@t60ade:/media/secure3/examples/xml$ ./add_contact documentation_contact.xml path: /media/secure3/examples/xml filename: documentation_contact.xml contact: <atom:entry xmlns:atom='http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom' xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005'> <atom:category scheme='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#kind' term='http://schemas.google.com/contact/2008#contact' /> <atom:title type='text'>Elizabeth Bennet</atom:title> <atom:content type='text'>Notes</atom:content> <gd:email rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#work' address='[email protected]' /> <gd:email rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#home' address='[email protected]' /> <gd:phoneNumber rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#work' primary='true'> (206)555-1212 </gd:phoneNumber> <gd:phoneNumber rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#home'> (206)555-1213 </gd:phoneNumber> <gd:im address='[email protected]' protocol='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#GOOGLE_TALK' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#home' /> <gd:postalAddress rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#work' primary='true'> 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy Mountain View </gd:postalAddress> </atom:entry> nice! adenil...@t60ade:/media/secure3/examples/xml$ And later when I retrieve the feed: index 3 has: title = Elizabeth Bennet etag = "RX45fjVSLyp7ImA9WxVWEUgLRQI." edit_url = http://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/gcalntester%40gmail.com/base/6e68b4a68fea5d4a deleted: 0 xml=<?xml version="1.0"?> <entry xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" xmlns:gd="http:// schemas.google.com/g/2005" gd:etag=""RX45fjVSLyp7ImA9WxVWEUgLRQI.""><id>http:// www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/gcalntester%40gmail.com/base/6e68b4a68fea5d4a</id><updated>2009-02-20T17:34:24.026Z</updated><app:edited xmlns:app="http://www.w3.org/2007/app">2009-02-20T17:34:24.026Z</ app:edited><category scheme="http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#kind" term="http://schemas.google.com/contact/2008#contact"/ ><title>Elizabeth Bennet</title><content>Notes</content><link rel="self" type="application/atom+xml" href="http://www.google.com/m8/ feeds/contacts/gcalntester%40gmail.com/base/6e68b4a68fea5d4a"/><link rel="edit" type="application/atom+xml" href="http://www.google.com/m8/ feeds/contacts/gcalntester%40gmail.com/base/6e68b4a68fea5d4a"/ ><gd:email rel="http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#work" address="[email protected]"/><gd:email rel="http://schemas.google.com/g/ 2005#home" address="[email protected]"/><gd:im address="[email protected]" protocol="http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#GOOGLE_TALK" rel="http:// schemas.google.com/g/2005#home"/><gd:phoneNumber rel="http:// schemas.google.com/g/2005#work" primary="true"> (206)555-1212 </gd:phoneNumber><gd:phoneNumber rel="http://schemas.google.com/g/ 2005#home"> (206)555-1213 </gd:phoneNumber><gd:postalAddress rel="http://schemas.google.com/g/ 2005#work" primary="true"> 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy Mountain View </gd:postalAddress></entry> The whole feed is available here too:http://pastebin.com/m263e70a I'm trying to identify *why* the returned feed is correct *except* that it is always lacking the URL needed to do photo operations. Any idea of what could be wrong on my code?
