Folks; Here's an odd behavior I just do not understand.
I use the Contacts API (Mac) to load pictures to various contacts. This process completes without incident. I do a refresh in a browser (either Safari or Firefox (Tiger or Leopard)) and 2 of the 15 images do no show up - same 2 every browser, every OS I do a reload in an API-based viewer of those same 15 contacts - all the images show up just as expected. OK so maybe there is a caching issue somewhere... (then why does API- based browser retrieve the images?) So I wait 30 minutes, clear the cache and restart the browsers ---> same result, same 2 missing images. Same 30 minutes later, I quit and restart the API based browser (just to be sure) same result --> all images available as expected. Aside from fixing the problem (whose problem is it?) I would really like to understand how this is possible because at the moment I simply have NO explanation. Thanks for any assistance here.
