Thanks Julian for your prompt reply. It works perfectly and I was able
to create a group but I must say that I'm a little confused because
the entry XML format which you suggested to use is not ATOM and
actually is nothing similar to what is written in the Google Contacts
official API documentation/reference Protocol found here :
http://code.google.com/apis/contacts/docs/1.0/developers_guide_protocol.html#CreatingGroups
For instance the "gd:extendedProperty" which holds the <info> tag
listed in the protocol is replaced by a <content> tag by the format
you have supplied above.
Also will I have to use a similar format when creating a contact?
