Let me see if I understand (I don't have a solution, but your language is a little confusing).. The process is as follows * add a structured address via the api * ask for the address via the api -> you get a structured address back * update the same address in gmail's contact interface * ask for the address via the api -> you get a formatted address back, but not a structured one
