Hello, Unfortunately, as it is written in the documentation you provided, UserDefinedFields and ExtendedProperties are not indexed for a search using the GAL. You can however search for, a file a new, feature request on the public issue tracker<http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/list?q=label:API-Contacts> .
