What feed URL are you using? When I run this code with http://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/myGMailAddress/full, where myGMailAddress is replaced with my gmail address, it gives me my first contact, which is what I would expect. Is there another feed that indicates "yourself"? I have looked through the documentation many times and I have not found such a thing.
