When I going to create a contact in the myContact group , I is created in the "Other contacts". It is almost the same as one which is posted on 7/20/2010/ http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/apps-apis/thread?tid=6501b24982c5ddfe&hl=en In the posting above, Yannick038 said "solved" but now I'm facing the same problem.(May.23.2011) Along with Yannick038's advice I used "gContact" prefix and added the gContact namespace in the <atom> field. Like this <atom:entry xmlns:atom='http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom' xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' "; xmlns:gContact='http://schemas.google.com/contact/2008' > --------------------- --------------------- --------------------- <gContact:groupMembershipInfo deleted="false" href=" http://www.google.com/m8/feeds/groups/xxxxxxx%40gmail.com/base/6"/> But when I sent this XML to Google Contacts API, a new contact was created in the "Other contacts" not in the myContacts. Then I edited a certain item (i.e., email), the contacts was moved into the myContacts automatically. I didn't edit group information.
