Unfortunately, it is not possible to use a POST request instead of a GET to
retrieve data from the API. You can however use a query
parameter<http://code.google.com/apis/contacts/docs/3.0/developers_guide_protocol.html#Versioning>to
specify the requested version of the API:
GET https://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/default/full?v=3.0
