Hey Nick, I haven't had that problem yet with my application the Id's stay the same. Although I don't use the functions I obtain the Entry Id.
Such as : *$obj->gmailUrl = rawurlencode($entry->id);* I find this to be the most stable form of ID for a contact relation.
