Hi Alain, I have the same dilemma. Basically I've created a web app that functions much like the "Google Apps Lookup" Android application (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.android.apps.enterprise.lookup). I'm using the Profiles API, but unfortunately have to use a known domain administrator account with the xo_requestor_id parameter. This is not really a feasible long term solution. Especially since I'd eventually like to sell the application in the Google Apps Marketplace.
My question is what API does Google Apps Lookup use? Because it is clearly able to browse the domain contacts without access to any domain administrator accounts. Is that API publicly accessible?
