Hello,
There is no direct support for phone numbers query. You can however use
fulltext search query ("q" query parameter) which will return contacts that
have text-fields (including phone number) matching the search pattern.
Unfortunately, that won't take into account the different formatting; you
can use the "+" keyword which is seen as an AND operator (q=987+555+1234).
