Hello,

Is this an issue with the Contacts API or the Contacts Manager in GMail
(web UI)? For the latter, please post your question in the Contacts Manager
help forums as I don't have the expertise to help you on that.
For the former, an heuristic parser is applied when only the
gContact:structuredPostalAddress/formattedAddress is provided to fill in
the other elements. The parser might fail and if you application relies on
such data, it can provide those to the API in which case no heuristic
parsers will be applied.
