The "Add Name" entry procedure changed recently in Google Contacts.
At least it changed in mine!

When I first started using Contacts, I was baffled as to how to enter
a company name. I decided to treat a name, such as Valley Care, as an
entry in the First Name window. At that time, "Valley Care," both
words in the same window, came up in Contacts and on my Droid 2 Global
Contacts as desired: Valley Care.

Now, the First Name and other windows are gone, as someone thinks
Contacts is smart enought to figure it out. Wrong!

Today, if I enter the name Eating Place in the "Add Name" window, it
becomes listed as Place Eating. I shudder to think what will happen
with a company name that has three or more words!

I did come up with a workaround, but usually "workaround" means that
someone has messed up in a slightly ignorant but totally consistent
way. The workaround is to omit the space between the first two words,
Save, then edit to add the space. Now Eating Place, entered as
EatingPlace, shows up in the list as EatingPlace; then after the edit,
it appears as Eating Place. Again, what would be necessary with a
three-name company? Say... Minnesota Mining And Manufacturing
Company?

Add to that the fact that Contacts might, at some point, be "upgraded"
to "correct" name entries that have been edited by adding a space...

PLEASE -- we use Contacts for business names, not just personal names!
