I was looking at interfacing with the Google Contacts API using JavaScript,
and happened across the following page:
https://developers.google.com/gdata/samples

On it, there is a sample tool labeled Friend Picker, which can be used to
pull and display a user's Google contact list.

However, when attempting to test it, the following warning pops up:

*This website is using an older Google authentication
API<https://developers.google.com/accounts/> that
> is no longer supported. On July 2, 2012 it will stop working.* We

Are there any plans to either update this tool, or otherwise provide a
replacement?
