Other than implimenting LDAP, I've been working on the best solution for contact sharing. I've tried many of the unsupported apps in the Google Marketplace. They all have a bunch of problems. I have detailed these problems and propose a solution that I think is a better way to go. Here is my assessment and what I recommend. Let me know if you find this helpful.
