*Job Description:*
Providing multi-project ecommerce, OMS and J2EE platform
Facilitate release planning of critical projects working closely with
application owners, PMs and business readiness teams
Primary liaison to various GSI teams like Client Launch Team, Products,
DBA, Middleware, Open systems, Operation, ESB, Development to coordinate
release schedules and communications around it
Identify, implement and support branching and merging model to support
agreed upon release calendar
Ensure availability and scalability of development and QA environments for
various projects
Management escalation point for product gaps, customization requirements
,environment and related issues occurring in all environments (production,
QA, Development)
Actively mentor GSI development resources to become proficient in leading
technologies, including a thorough understanding of the GSI ecommerce/OMS
platform
Advocate new tools and processes to continuously improve OMS on boarding
activities
*Required Skills:*
6+ years of Order Management, Multi-channel retail systems experience
Experience with software development teams on eCommerce or J2EE platforms '
Sterling Commerce/JDA preferred
Experience of working in fast paced dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Expertise with source control, configuration and build tools
Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Self-starter; Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to thrive in new
emerging environments
Must exude a positive, can-do attitude and an inclination for process
improvements
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and escalate issues appropriately
Effective mentoring skills
