I am looking for Oracle DBA’s to work at a Bank in Charlotte for around 45/hr to start ASAP and end in March for both positions. Must have green card or be a US citizen. * * *First position:* *Must Have:* 1- Candidate needs to have worked in a *production support enviornment. * 2-*ORACLE RAC*- need to understand the technologies and be able to speak about RAC architecture. 3- Candidate needs to be able to explain working on a upgrade project, for this project they will be moving from ORACLE 9i -10g to 11g. *coming from a small enviornment is not a issue. *Plus:* *SharePlex-* a way to create logs. *Second position:* * * *DAY TO DAY DUTIES**:* the candidate will Consult with and provide guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic solutions. Provide support to development team on infrastructure and DBA Support. • Design and recommend archival and purging strategy with partition tables. • Work with application development team for proactive monitoring for identifying SQL tuning candidates, Leads, mentors and/or provides guidance to less experienced database analysts *MUST HAVE:* 1- 8+ years as *an Core Oracle DBA* (NOT a applications DBA), i.e.- *configuring and maintaining Oracle RAC 11gR2*, Extensive knowledge of Oracle *RMAN*backup and Recovery and *Dataguard.* 2- have strong hands on experience in *Performance Tuning* and *RAC*systems for Production environment, i.e.- Consult with and provide guidance to database users and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic solutions. 3- *database design experience* in data modeling and/or mapping in * programming* and *coding *to automate and/or support the database environment, i.e.- performance monitoring and tuning; analyzing database metrics and assisting with capacity planning; planning, testing, configuration and execution of installations, upgrades and migrations; and implementing security controls.
