Hello all!

I've been working at an issue with my company's GKE cluster for a couple of
days without success. I've created a GH issue with details, but I realized
today that I should have posted here first...

We’re having issues with our 2 node standard-16 GKE Kubernetes cluster. We
have several services that mount GCE drives in various contexts, but it
seems we've reached some invisible limit, or perhaps the pending volume
claims and pods are clogging cluster and preventing it from provisioning
resources. I've tried adding nodes and recycling the cluster entirely, both
without success.

We’ve switched over one of our services to the Persistent Volume construct,
using Claims to specify mounts, but we’ve encountered the same issues
there. The claims are set up ReadOnlyMany but we can only mount them once.
Creating many versions of the same ROX claim fail to leave Pending state.

We're willing to purchase support from Google to have this issue resolved,
but I wanted to approach the community first and see if there was something
simple I could check.

Extended information is
here; https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/25828

Thanks!

-Peter
