It is unfortunate but it is out of our control.  Let's figure out how to
pull in the same general direction.

It seems sad that instead of collaboration with CNCF (they are part of it),
they
chose this. I'm not sure if they are trying to do the best for the community
of for themselves, time will tell.

I really hope this ends up being good for the community.
