Hello Chen,

The Google Container VM Image kernel is based on ChromiumOS kernel sources,
which can be found here
- https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/third_party/kernel/. The
exact commit on the kernel tree for each release is included in the
release-notes
(https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/containers/vm-image/release-notes)
as well. For example,
gci-stable-51-8172-47-0 has kernel at commit
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/third_party/kernel/+/f0ea9e40f2fadd4efee9b0bfe888a71942542538.

We are also working on making rest of our sources public as well.

Hope this is useful. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions.

Thanks,
Aditya
