Maybe he's on vacation. This, among others, can result in a lack of
response.

I admire your enthusiasm but some things you have to learn for yourself. The
fact that's in an exe pretty much says it all: it's a bit of extra
functionality which (incidentally) is hidden from others so we can only
guess what he used - this is not functionality that is generally included in
gadgets so knowing about it would probably mean a bit of research on the
Internet. It's up to him (and/or the license of his gadget) to tell you what
he used (and/or make his code available to you).
