hmmm. I obviously didn't fully understand putDefaultValue. I stand
corrected. I thought that value got re-initialized if the user removed
the Gadget from the desktop and then added it back later.
I have so much to learn still, sigh.
I'm going to write a full article on my gadget, and the accompanying
php files that achieve what I have so far (some folks over at
nukeforums might be interested in the module/block combo I made).
That'll give you guys a chance to criticize MY writing, hehe. :)
I like the idea of a good thread focusing on stats... but I'd suggest
starting a new one. This one has too much of my rambling. :)
However, it looks like it'll be a few days before I can focus on that
project. Still trying to get my "Lounge" underway (a new section of my
site).
Don't think I ever pointed you to my gadget:

That's a good starting point. If I've done my job well, you'll be able
to find everything else with no problem.
OT- I put a new version on my server today, and I just got my Gadget
acceptance letter!
Whoop! I'm still grinning. :) (Although it just occurred to me I did
not put category tags in it. oops- gotta go)
