I have a simple gadget that I want to design. It needs to have a log-
in function with username and password when it is first installed. I
want the login to be posted to my server via https and my server to
return a secure token that can be saved in the gadget for future
logins. Once logged in with the token, I want the option to "forget"
the login.

Being new to google gadgets, how should I store the token on the
client side? It does not need to be encrypted, since it is already
encrypted.

Once the gadget is logged in, I just want a simple text box and button
to submit text to my server. Also, rather than spend my time coming
up to speed, are there people who will do designs like this at a
reasonable cost? I tried posting a project on getafreelancer.com, but
there seems to be a shortage of people who have experience with
widgets/gadgets.
