Hi Mohan, on Linux you can debug your gadget by running google gadgets for linux with the -dc 2 parameter which will open a debug console for every gadget you add to the sidebar. If you call ggl-gtk -dc 2 gadget.gmanifest this will add your gadget, open the console and from there you can see all your error, info and trace debug messages.
on Mac there is an application called Console in Utilities. If you add your gadget to the Mac Dashboard all error, info and debug messages will be displayed there.
