In order to ensure only explicitly listed locations are indexed, I've attempted to disable all locations from being indexed and I've been unsuccessful. I've included all of my drives in the "Do not search the following files, folders or web sites:" list via the Google Desktop 5.8.0809.23506-en-pb Preferences interface and I've triggered an index rebuild via TweakGDS v1.1.3 and I still get 330 Total searchable items (all files). Are there implicit indexed locations that can not be disabled?
GDS seems to be a fantastic capability and I can't wait to apply it. I just have to satisfy myself that it can be configured such that sensitive information won't be inadvertently indexed.
