Hi, I have had problems getting my updated gadget out to the masses. With some extra help from Srinivas of Google I was finally able to get my gadget updated. I had set the url to the GG file set improperly, my error, he fixed that problem for me by pointing the gadget url to a new location (thanks). However there were some unexpected side effects:
1) The sidebar does not prompt me to update, thus all my users are are stuck on a limited 0.9 version when a full-blown 1.0 version is available. Since they have no way of knowing about the new version. I triple checked, and the GUID is the same in both the old and new manifests. 2) All of my reviews got deleted. I had accumulated a fair number of 5 star reviews - now there are all gone :( .
