Hi,

I have the same problem (I'm using Google Desktop:5.9.0909.08267-es-
pb; which is the spanish version; on Windows XP SP3). I'm trying to
modify a package to add a language (spanish) and I can't seem to
compile it. Even if I just open the gadget and then try to re-compile
it (without any modifications), I get errors with every way I try:

1- Using the 'Google Desktop Gadget Designer' v1.1.0708.17471 'Build
Package' option, I get the error: 'Cannot write to file: xxxx' (the
file IS created, but it only weights 1Kb and of course is invalid)
2- Using Winrar and Winzip to zip all the files and then change the
extension to '.gg' I get the error: 'Unable to verify the integrity of
gadget' (I'm not packaging the folder, I'm packaging so that the
'.gmanifest' file is at the top level, and I'm NOT adding the 1kb
invalid file to the package, of course)

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Cheers!
